1. When using the product(s) for the first time, please insure the 5A fuse (which is included in the box) is
correctly installed in its place.
2. The solar panel must be generally installed or placed facing the sun (i.e. the edge of the solar panel is
approximately 30 or 45 degrees to the ground), this will generate the largest power.
3. The output cable of the solar panel must be connected to the solar controller system's solar panel
input port (i.e. no.1 on the diagram). When the solar panel output voltage reaches to more than 14V, the
controller will automatically boot and go into charging mode.
4. When in charging mode, press the USB output switch or 12V DC output switch or cigarette lighter
output switch and the corresponding LED light will switch on (indicating that it is on), the controller will
then go into output charging mode. When you don't need to use any of the above mentioned ports,
please remember to press the reset button to prevent power loss.
5. When in charging mode and the USB output switch or 12V DC output switch or the cigarette lighter
switch is not pressed then the controller will charge the battery automatically. When the corresponding
lights of the power indicator lights are on, this will indicate the current amount of power remaining in the
battery. The LED light for the power indicator of the battery will blink when it's charging, the lights that
are blinking indicates the remaining capacity on the battery. The controller will automatically charge into
the next capacity level. When the battery is fully charged all the indicator lights will be lit. ( The greater
the charge current of the solar panel the faster the battery power indicator light will blink)
6 SOL-4142 control panel has two 12V DC output ports and the output voltage of 12V DC with
maximum output current of 5A. Please do not overload.
7 SOL-4143/ SOL-4144control panel has four cigarette lighter ports and the output voltage of 12V DC
with maximum output current of 5A. Please do not overload.
! Warning
1. The system is for indoor use only. It is not rain or water resistant.
2. Please charge the battery fully on the first use.
3. When nothing is connected to the system, please insure that the output is switched off.
4. Not only can the system be charged with a solar panel but it can also be charged with a DC adapter
(charging voltage of 14V~18V)
5. Use the instruction manual to connect other light bulb or other appliances. Do not overload the
system. Overloading will damage the control system.
6. When replacing the battery is needed please insure the positive and the negative poles of the battery
is connected correctly. Positive is red and negative is black, do not reverse the two.
