Auto-Variable Mode: LCD shows "AUTO". The filter responds automatically to the
intensity of the welding arc and sets the filter to the appropriate dark shade. The user
can adjust the dark shade up or down for comfort, while "(٠)" flashes. The setting will
be saved in a memory slot. This mode has 8 memory slots, one for each shade from
7 to 14; i.e., shade 7 = memory 1, shade 8 = memory 2, etc.

ITIG mode: the LCD display shows the "TIG" icon and the flashing "(٠)" symbol.
The user first sets the desired minimum shade, while "(٠)" flashes. After about
5 seconds without turning the shade knob, the blinking stops and the user can then set
the desired higher shade.
