Installing your keyboard

System requirements

For IBM compatible computers, the following system requirements are
recommended:
• USB or PS/2 port
• CD or DVD drive (to load the driver)
• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT,
Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP

Hardware installation

To install the keyboard:
1 Turn off the computer.
2 Plug the USB connector into a USB port on your computer.
If no USB port is available, use the USB to PS/2 converter on the keyboard
cable and connect it to the PS/2 keyboard port.
3 Turn on your computer.

Driver installation

This keyboard is a Plug & Play device and you do not need to install a separate
driver for basic keyboard functions. Windows can automatically detect the drive
and load the appropriate driver. However, to use the advanced features of this
keyboard, you must install the keyboard driver.
To install the keyboard driver:
1 Insert the Driver CD into the CD or DVD drive of your computer.
2 If the installation does not automatically begin, double click
the CD or DVD and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the keyboard.
3 After the driver is installed, a keyboard icon appears on the Windows
taskbar. Double-click this icon to set the hot key functions of your keyboard.
