• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local voltage before you
connect the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person respon-
sible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near water or in bathtubs, basins or other vessels.
• When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug the appliance after use since the proxi-
mity of water presents a hazard, even when the hairdryer is switched off.
• For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current device (RCD) with a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the

• Never block the air grilles.

cool down for a few minutes. Before you switch the appliance on again, check the grilles to
make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.
• Do not direct the airflow towards the eyes or other sensitive areas.
• Neither should the appliance be used with wet hands nor immersed in water, held in run-
ning water, or allowed to become wet.

or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
