Body fat percentage

Fat is essential as energy storage for daily operation and to protect biological
organs. The body fat distribution is different in men and women, and is classified
depending on the area of the body where it is located:
•Visceral fat
•Subcutaneous fat
It is important to take into account factors such as age, height and gender to
calculate the body fat percentage.
The body fat percentage, by Bioelectrical Impedance Method (IM) is determined
from the electrical properties of the fluids and tissues. In addition, use this technique
to know the percentage of other elements from body composition, such as liquids,
muscles, bones, etc.
