- heat sources (e.g. open flames, gas stoves, fire places etc.), flammable gasses or
explosive materials
- liquids (e.g. from bathtubs, showers, sinks etc.) to avoid splashing water and to
prevent it from falling into them (the appliance should be kept a minimum of 2
metres away).
- fabrics (curtains, etc.) or floating materials/particles that may block the aspiration
grid; check also that the front part is free from floating particles (dust, etc.).
 Make sure there is 60 cm free space in front of the purifier and 50cm free space on
both sides and behind it.
 Make sure doors and windows are closed.
 If there is a fault or the appliance is not working correctly, switch it off and have it
checked by a qualified professional. Repairs done by an unqualified person can be
dangerous and cause the guarantee to become void.
DESCRIPTION
 The appliance comes with the following controls and accessories:
- Button "
- Ionizing function: produces a flow of negative ions that neutralize positive ions
present in the air. This function is automatic when the device is running.
- Filter: HEPA, activated carbon and mesh (2): filters dust, lint, pollen, smoke and
airborne particles that can cause allergies or respiratory illnesses.
- Filter replacement indicator light (4): turns on (red) whenever the filter needs to be
replaced. To reset: Press the indicator hole with a sharp tool (e.g. a small
screwdriver) or similar for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will flash and a
"beep" will be heard. To replace the filter, refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance"
section.
USE
To run the appliance, insert the plug (5) into the seat of the base and the plug of the
adaptor into the socket: a "beep" will be heard and the red symbol on the "
will light up (indicating that the appliance is in stand-by); each time the button is
pressed the air flow will vary and a "beep" will be heard:
-once, minimum airflow (dark blue symbol lights up)
-second time, maximum airflow (the blue symbol lights up that is slightly lighter than
previously)
To stop the appliance (set to stand-by), press "
stay on. To turn off the appliance completely, remove the plug from the adaptor's
plug point.
