NOTE: Faucet will not operate in any mode without
filter. Filter should be left in protective bag until
ready for installation.
Use only MicroTech filter cartridges with the
PureTouch Filtering Faucet System.
1. Disconnect the quarter turn connector from
pullout spout by turning it counterclockwise one
quarter turn. Quarter turn connector will remain
on the hose.
2. Remove the filter cover by lifting it up and away
from the pullout spout assembly. Remove the
filter by lifting it up and away from the pullout
spout assembly. NOTE: Excess water may

dribble from filter and valving See Fig (2).
3. Insert the new filter by aligning the outlet tubes
on the filter with the inlet ports of the spout
body and gently pressing in and down. ( the
PureTouch logo on the filter should face up)
Upon successful installation of the filter
cartridge, the filter life indicator will beep three
times and reset automatically. See Fig (2).
4. Reinstall the filter cover by positioning the
alignment tab with the corresponding notch in
the main pullout spout body and gently pushing
in and down. See Fig (4).
5. Attach the pullout spout to the hose by aligning
the dots on the quarter turn connector and the
spout. Push the quarter turn connector onto the
spout assembly and turn it clockwise, locking it
in place. See Fig (5).
6. Allow cold water to run in the filtered water
mode for 5 minutes to flush out any loose
carbon particles. Once these small black specks
are washed out the filter is ready for use.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
NOTA: La mezcladora no funcionará en ninguno de los
modos sin un filtro. El filtro debe mantenerse en la bolsa
protectora hasta que esté listo para la instalación.
Use únicamente cartuchos de filtro MicroTech con el
Sistema de Mezcladora Filtradora PureTouch.
1. Desconecte el conector de un cuarto de vuelta del
ensamble de la salida extraíble volteándolo un cuarto
de vuelta en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj.
El conector de un cuarto de vuelta permanecerá en la
manguera.
2. Remueva la cubierta del filtro levantándola hacia arriba
y lejos del ensamble de la salida extraíble. Remueva el
filtro levantándolo hacia arriba y lejos del ensamble de
la salida extraíble. NOTA: Un exceso de agua puede
gotear del cartucho y las válvulas. Ver fig. (2)
3. Para insertar el filtro nuevo, alinee los tubos en el filtro
con las tomas de admisión del cuerpo del grifo y
presiónelo suavemente hacia adentro y hacia abajo. (el
logotipo de PureTouch debe quedar boca arriba).
Cuando se haya instalado correctamente el cartucho de
filtro, el indicador de la vida útil del filtro emitirá tres
tonos cortos y se restablecerá automáticamente. Ver
fig. (2)
4. Reinstale la cubierta del filtro colocando la lengüeta de
alineación en la muesca correspondiente en el cuerpo
principal de la salida extraíble y empujando
gentilmente hacia adentro y abajo. Ver fig. (4)
5. Conecte la salida extraíble a la manguera mediante la
alineación de los puntos situados en el conector de un
cuarto de vuelta y la salida. Empuje el conector de un
cuarto de vuelta insertándolo en el ensamble de la
salida y voltee en sentido de las manecillas del reloj,
fijándolo en su sitio. Ver fig. (5)
6. Empuje el botón pare agua filtrada y deje que el agua
fría corra 5 minutos para lavar cualquier partícula de
carbono que esté suelta. Una vez que estas pequeñas
partículas negras de carbono hayan sido lavadas, el
filtro estará listo para el uso.
