BANANA BREAD AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup (375 ml) flour
•
1 cup (250 ml) sugar
•
1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking soda
•
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
•
3 ripe bananas
•
1 egg
•
½ cup (125 ml) mayonnaise
•
¾ cup (190 ml) chocolate chips
Preparation:
1.
Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C).

In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In another bowl, combine the bananas, egg and mayonnaise. Attach the beaters
to your Starfrit 5-speed Hand Mixer, starting to mix on low speed increasing to
medium speed.
4.
Incorporate the dry ingredients and beat until the ingredients are just barely
combined and no more dry flour is visible.
5.
Put aside your Starfrit 5-speed Hand Mixer and with spatula incorporate the
chocolate chips.
6.
Place the mixture in a buttered loaf pan.
7.
Bake 60 minutes or until golden brown.
