IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION FOR WIRELESS CONTROLLERS
• Use only fresh AA standard alkaline batteries.
• Replace all used batteries at the same time and with the same type of batteries.
• Be sure to insert batteries correctly by matching the + and – as shown in the instruction manual and in the controller's
battery compartment. Never insert batteries backwards.
• If you know that you may not be using the controller for an extended period of time, we recommend that you remove the
batteries.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Adult supervision is required when charging rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix old and new or different types of batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standards (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Supply terminals are not to be short circuited.
STORE AND DISPOSE OF BATTERIES PROPERLY
• Batteries may explode or leak, and cause burn injury, if recharged, disposed of in fire, mixed with a different battery type,
inserted backwards or disassembled.
• Never store, put or throw batteries into a flame or in a heated place.
• Do not carry batteries loose in your pocket or purse.
• Do not remove the battery label.
• Standard alkaline batteries generally do not pose a health or environmental risk when used, stored and disposed of normally
and, subject to any local laws, in most cases can be disposed of with normal household waste and garbage.
• You should check with local codes, contact the proper government authorities or look under the Government listings of your
local area directory to see if there are any special battery disposal instructions or requirements that apply where you live. For
rechargeable or other types of batteries, the manufacturer should provide proper disposal instructions and you should always
read and follow the manufacturer's directions to avoid injury and damage and to comply with the laws and regulations protect-
ing health, safety and the environment.
IMPORTANT Safety Information Regarding the Inline Cable Release
• CAUTION this Rock Band Game Controller comes equipped with an inline cable release as part of the controller's connection
to the Xbox 360. this is a safety feature designed to reduce the chance of damage to your controller or Xbox 360. If the
Xbox 360 is pulled or falls, this could cause serious injury to persons nearby and/or damage to the Xbox 360 or the controller.
to reduce the risk of injury or of damage to the Xbox 360 or your controller, it is important to use the controller and the
inline release properly. the inline release is intended to disconnect when the cable is pulled or is subject to rapid movement.
Always use the Xbox 360 connector, not the inline release, to routinely connect or disconnect the controller from the
Xbox 360. If the inline release disconnects, simply reconnect it by aligning the grooved indentations and pushing the two
parts together. the inline release will reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of damage to your controller or your Xbox 360 and
the risk of potentially causing injury to persons nearby.
• WARNING the Rock Band Game Controller will not work unless the inline release is connected properly. Never tape, glue or
otherwise prevent the inline release from pulling apart or operating as intended since this can cause serious injury to persons
nearby or damage to the Xbox 360 or controller. It will also invalidate and void your warranty.
