Soldering skills are necessary in order to avoid damage to the
printed circuit
Use a 30-watt soldering iron. A higher energy soldering iron is
NOT recommended.
Before beginning the assembly of this parallel port interface K-400, it is
necessary to have a pencil type soldering iron and soldering solution.
Adult Supervision is recommended during assembly.
1. Place the integrated circuit SN74LS373N in its respective position
(U1). Check the pin position and solder the terminals on their underside
and cut off the excess metal.
2. Place the integrated circuit SN74LS245N in its respective position
(U2). Check the pin position and solder the terminals on their underside
and cut off the excess metal.
3. Place the DB9 connectors in their respective positions (J1-J2).
Solder the terminals on their underside and cut off the excess metal.
4. This connector does not go on the same side as the components.
Place the DB25 connector on the underside of the card (J3). Solder the
terminals on the upper side.
5. Solder the power cables in their respective positions (BT1). The
power input voltage is 5 volts.
OPTIONAL
place the voltage regulator MC7805CT in their respective position
(U3). check the position of the pin 1 weld terminals at the bottom.
