Safety instructions

Checking, replacing and repairing
• Check the device and power cable reg-
ularly for external damage
• If the power cable is damaged, replace
it immediately
• If the device is damaged, do not start
it up
• Repairs must only be carried out by
the manufacturer or by authorised and
qualified specialists

Qualification of the personnel

Work on the electrics, which is not
described in the "Troubleshooting and
repairs" chapter, may only be carried
out electricians. Electricians are people
who have been trained for the job and
who are authorised to carry out work on

Brake fluid
Brake fluid is harmful and irritates the skin
and eyes.
• Wear protective gloves and safety
goggles
• Do not breathe in the vapours from
the heated brake fluid. Only carry out
measurements in well-ventilated areas
• Hot brake fluid can cause burns
• Observe the manufacturer's specifi-
cations and safety data sheet for the
brake fluid
• Clear up and dispose of spilt brake
fluid in accordance with the instructions
in the safety data sheet
technical devices and circuits. Qualified
specialists are people who have been
trained and authorised by the manufac-
turer to carry out maintenance and repair
work on the device.
