Slipper Clutch Rebuild Instructions
• Pay close attention to the orientation of the steel disc and the
aluminum friction insert for part #7789. Correct orientation of
these parts is critical to proper performance of the slipper.
• Attach the threaded slipper nut. Use the wrench supplied with
your X-Maxx to tighten the slipper (clockwise) until the nut stops,
and then back the nut off 1/8 turn.
Important: Do not overtighten the slipper nut.
