If the following precautions are not observed, the child may be at risk of injury or death, and a
damage accident may occur.
• If this child seat is not installed correctly or
it is not used properly, its performance may
be compromised. If you later install it in
another vehicle, do not forget to check the
conformance again.
• Do not take apart, modify, or lubricate the
child seat or replace any part with one
other than specified.
• Do not install this child seat on the
passenger seat equipped with a front
airbag. If it is possible to inactivate the
airbag, do so in accordance with the
instructions in the owner's manual for the
vehicle.
• Do not use a child seat that has received
impact. Its strength may be compromised,
even if its appearance has not been
changed.
• Do not use the child seat with its body
cover or cushions removed, with them
replaced with other ones, or if they are
badly torn. Its performance may be
insufficient in a severe collision, presenting
risk of serious injury or death.
• Be careful not to pinch the hard plastic
parts of the child seat with a door of the
vehicle or mobile seat.

• Do not expose the child seat to direct
sunlight. The metal fittings get so hot that
they may burn someone. When the child
seat is to be left without the child in it, be
sure to put the tongues into the buckle or
tongue pockets. The tongues will not get
too hot.
• Tear and throw away the protective plastic
of the child seat after opening the package.
If a child gets wrapped up in it, it may cause
suffocation.
• If the support leg interferes with the slide
rail of the passenger seat, use the floor mat
specified by the manufacturer of the vehicle.
• If the support leg reaches other than level
floor or the blowing of the air conditioner in
the passenger seat that can be slid, slide
the seat to a position where the support leg
does not reach them.
• Do not slide or recline the passenger seat on
which the child seat is installed and its safety
check is finished. It may let the seatbelt
loosen.
• When carrying the child seat, be sure to lock
the seat not to turn and to lock the support
leg.
• Be careful not to pinch your finger with the
movable parts when you turn or recline the
child seat and when handle the support leg.
