DESCRIPTION
These cords come with a 3-prong grounding
type power plug.

INSTALLATION
Refer to Figure 1.
1. Disconnect power before servicing.
Hazardous voltage. Can
shock, burn or cause death. Before removing
a pump for service, always disconnect the
electrical power.
2. Loosen and remove the pump handle screws
and the pump handle.
3. Firmly but gently, pull up on the cord con-
nector to remove it from the cord connector
socket in the pump cover.
4. Plug the new cord connector into the pump
cover.
WARNING
Risk of electrical shock.
Can burn or kill.
Do not lift pump by
power cord.
1. Attempting to lift or support pump by power cord can damage cord and cord connections.
2. Cord may pull apart, exposing bare wires with possibility of fire or electrical shock.
3. Lifting or supporting pump by power cord will void warranty.
4. Use lifting ring or handle on top of pump for all lifting/lowering of pump. Disconnect
power to pump before doing any work on pump or attempting to remove pump from
sump.

NOTICE: Be sure to align the three small
prongs in the pump cover cord connector
socket with the three small holes in the bot-
tom of the cord connector. See inset drawing
of Figure 1.
5. Reinstall the new pump handle and screws.
6. Run the pump through one complete cycle
to verify the correct operation.
