BATTERY INSTALLATION:
Slide and open the battery compartment cover (1).
Insert two AA batteries (or rechargeable batteries) into the battery container. Please observe polarity shown
on the inner side of the battery compartment cover. In order to ensure long-lasting performance it is
recommended that you use Alkaline batteries.
Slide back and close the cover (1).
Attention! Please do not use batteries of different types or batteries with various charge level.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Remove the lens cap from the objective lens (2).
• Activate the device by turning the wheel (3) clockwise until you hear a click - a stable green indicator will light
up. If the battery is low the color of the indicator will turn red.
• Locate an object within 20 to 30 meters.
• Rotate the eyepiece (4) until you clearly see the frame of the display and a fine black grid on it. Adjust
brightness of the screen by turning the adjustment wheel (3).
• To turn on the IR Illuminator (5) move the switch to the IR position (6).
• Rotate the objective lens (2) until you see a sharp image of the object.
• When changing the viewing distance, try to see a sharp and high-quality image by rotating the objective lens
(2) and the brightness adjustment wheel (3). Do not rotate the eyepiece (4) - the device has already been
individually adjusted.
• Plug the output video cable into the device's video-output jack (7) to transmit the observed image to an
external LCD monitor. When the Twilight DNV is coupled with video equipment, the observed image can be
recorded.
