• If the Axis product is installed in a closed rack or in a rack with other units, the
temperature in the rack may be considerably higher than the ambient room temperature.
• Make sure that there is sufficient air flow around the Axis product when it is mounted
in a rack.
• When mounting the Axis product in a rack, never stack other units directly on top. The
mounting brackets are not designed to support more than one unit. Each unit in the rack
must be secured with appropriate brackets. Place the heaviest units at the bottom of
the rack.
• Protection against overcurrents, short circuits and earth faults should be provided in
the building installation.
• The Axis product shall be properly grounded when installed in a rack. Make sure that all
power strips and power supplies are grounded.
