Intended uses
• To compensate for a disability by helping a person get into
and out of a bathtub and by providing a stable sitting surface
Instructions for installation
1. Remove the bath board (labelled A in Figure 1) from the
seat (B) by loosening the seat height adjuster knobs (C) and
pulling the securing legs (D) out of the seat height adjusters.
2. Position the seat in the bathtub and put the securing legs of
the board through both parts of the seat height adjusters.
3. Allow the board to slide down until it rests on both bathtub
side rims. Tighten the seat adjuster knobs to secure the
board at the appropriate height.
4. Loosen both wing nuts on each side adjuster bracket of the
board (E) and slide the brackets out until they fit snug against
the sides of the bathtub. Tighten the four wing nuts securely.
5. A properly positioned board and seat system is shown in
Figure 2.
Care and Cleaning
The board and seat system can be cleaned with warm water
and mild detergent or household disinfectant.
Cautions
• The board and seat system is not to be used to support
more than 127 kg / 280 lb / 20 st.
• Be sure the board and seat system is securely in place
before putting weight on it.
• Cover the board and seat with a towel to help reduce
slipperiness.
