SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug, To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended
to t into a polarized outlet only one way, If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug, If it still does not t, contact a quali ed electrician, Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
Notes on the cord
a) A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used
if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cords or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) If the appliance if of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord,
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add water into water tank to
he max level and brew water for several times without co ee powder, then discard the water.
Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Lift the water reservoir lid and ll the water reservoir with 600ml of water (about one full glass)
2. Put 4-5 tablespoons of nely ground co ee into the reusable mesh lter for a full glass of co ee
Note: regular co ee grounds require more co ee per cup to achieve the strength of ner
co ee grounds
3. Gently shake the mesh lter to distribute the co ee evenly.
4. Place the mesh lter into the lter basket and place lter basket into the brewing chamber
(see the gure)
5. Close the top lid.
6. Place the glass into the base.
7. Plug the power cord into a standard 120volt AC electrical outlet.
8. Press the switch; the switch indicator light will illuminate , verifying that the co eemaker
is operating. Caution: Don't open the lter bracket during the brew cycle, as scalding may occur.
9. Allow all the co ee to drip from the lter bracket into the glass before removing the glass .
Note: since co ee grounds absorb some water during brewing , the amount of brewed co ee
will be slightly less than the amount of water pure dint other reservoir.
10. If brewing another glass of co ee at this time proceed to the brewing a second glass

of co ee section, when all brewing is complete, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Brewing a Second Glass of Co ee:
To brew another Glass of co ee, allow the Co eemaker to completely cool (about three minutes)
after the Switch has shut o . Rinse the Glass and the Reusable Mesh Filter with water.
Repeat the brewing procedure.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance and allow the product to cool completely before
cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid.
After each use, always make sure plug is rst removed from wall outlet.
1) The Filter Basket may be placed on the upper rack of a dishwasher for cleaning or hand washed
in warm, soapy water. The Reusable Mesh Filter must be washed by hand.

NOTE: When washed in a dishwasher, the parts may appear to fade. Restore by polishing them with
a soft, dry cloth.

2) Wipe the exterior surface of the Co eemaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use metal scouring
pads or abrasive cleaners.
