6.3
Fitting the charging cradle
Prerequisites
–
Only use the charging cradle indoors.
–
Mount the charging cradle a maximum of 2 metres above the floor.
–
The charging cradle must be fitted in a location which provides sufficient
space for the retainer to be opened (see chapter 9).
–
Four screws are required for mounting (see chapter 9).

1. Pre-drill the holes if necessary.
2. Plug the power supply unit or the vehicle adapter into the charging cradle.
3. Fasten the charging cradle with the 4 screws.
4. Connect the charging cradle to the power supply.

Storage
If the thermal imaging camera is in storage, carry out the following tasks every
6 months:
–
Check that the thermal imaging camera is functioning correctly:
–
Press the On/Off button briefly to switch the thermal imaging camera on.
The thermal image must be displayed.
–
Switch the thermal imaging camera off again.
–
Recharge the thermal imaging camera.
–
If the battery runtime is no longer sufficient, have the battery replaced by
Dräger.
Dräger recommends keeping the thermal imaging camera in the charging
cradle so that the rechargeable battery will be regularly recharged.

This product must not be disposed of as household waste. This is indi-
cated by the adjacent symbol.
You can return this product to Dräger free of charge. For information
please contact the national marketing organizations or Dräger.
