IMPORTANT: Always read the instructions before
using the appliance. Retain these instructions for
Future reference. This appliance is designed to
comply with the Gas appliance Directive 90/396/
EEC.
This appliance must be connected to a gas bottle
fitted with a regulator operating at the pressure
required by the appliance (see below) and con-
nected by an approved flexible hose suitable for use
with LPG, (Sold separately)
• For butane, use a 28-30 mbar regulator
• For propane, use a 37 mbar regulator.

Nominal Flow Rate (Total): 4,4 kW 320 g/h (Butane).
Boiling burners: 2,2 kW 160 g/h.
Injector No. 70 for all burners.
Quantity of air required for combustion: 2m /kW/h.
A minimum space of 52 cm x 32.5 cm is required for
the siting of the appliance. The appliance must not
be sited closer than 2 cm to any adjacent surface.
The appliance must be operated well away from tent
walls and any other flammable materials. A clear
space of 60 cm above the burners is recommended.
SAFETY ADVICE
•
This appliance is designed exclusively for use
outdoors.
•
This appliance must be used well away from flam-
mable materials.
•
Connect and disconnect the gas container in a
well ventilated area (preferably outdoors), well away
from all sources of ignition (pilot lights, electric fires,
cigarettes, other gas appliances in operation) and
far away from other people.
•
Never move the appliance whilst it is operating.
•
Never leave the appliance unattended when lit.
•
Take care of the appliance and never use it for
Anything that it has not been designed for.
•
Any modification of the appliance by the user can
be dangererous and is forbidden.
•
After using the appliance, close the valve at the
gas container the appliance control taps.
•
If you suspect a leak, close the gas container
valve, disconnect
the appliance from the gas
container and have the appliance checked by a
reputable L.P. Gas dealer.
•
It you wish to search for leaks, use soapy water
only, never use flame.
•
For efficienty and stability, use cookware with fist
bases, a diameter of 10 cm to 18 cm is recom-
mended.
•
Do not allow pans to boil dry.
•
Do not attemp any maintenance other than that
set out in this leaflet. Any other faults should be
rectified by a qualifled L.P. gas fitter.
ASSEMBLY
The appliance is fitted with a connector nozzle for
8 mm bore flexible hose with a recommended length
of 1m.
Push one end of the hose onto the inlet nozzle at
the front of the appliance (fig. 1) and the other onto
the regulator nozzel (fig. 2) and secure both ends
with suitable clips.
Note: A light smear of washing up liquid applied to
the connector nozzles before fitting the hose will aid
the fitting.
OPERATION
Ensure that appliance taps are in the "OFF" position
(turned fully clockwise). then open the control tap of
the gas container, or regulator.
LIGHTING
To light, first strike a match and hold the flame close
to the burner. Turn the control knob slightly anti-
clockwise (left).
When lit, turn the control knob anti-clockwise to the
desired flame setting (fig. 3)
EXTINGUISHING
Turn the control knob fully clockwise (right) towards
the or symbol.
NOTE: When use of the appliance is finished, turn
off the gas supply at the gas container or regulator,
and ensure that the flame is extinguished at the
burners before turning off the appliance control taps.
USING HOTPLATE BURNERS
•
Make sure that the pan support grid is firmly in
position
•
Place the cooking vessel over the centre of the
burner.
•
Do not waste gas by allowing the flame to spread
beyond the base of the cooking vessel.
IMPORTANT
If the appliance is fitted with a lid or windshields,
they should never be closed when the appliance is
in use.

CLEANING
Clean the appliance after each use, using only hot
water with the addition of liquid soap. Do not use
abrasive cleaning liquids.The appliance is finished in
a high quality epoxidic powder paint.
The grid can be easily removed for cleaning.
Regularly check the condition of the regulator and
hose. (The hose should remain flexible and without
signs of cracking). Change the hose if you are
unsure of its condition.
MAINTENANCE
If the flame pressure becomes low or uneven on
one of the burners, but the burners are producing a
normal flame. either the burner/venturi has become
partially blocked through spillage, or the injectors
have become partlally blocked.
To remove the injectors or the venturi for cleaning,
the burners will first have to be removed.
TO REMOVE THE HOTPLATE BURNER/VENTURI
1) Remove the grid.
2) Unscrew the burner retaining screw (a. fig. 4) and
remove the burner through the hotplate. The burner/
venturi can then be cleaned. Refit the
burner in the reverse manner ensuring that the
burner venturi is correctly positioned onto the control
tap before refitting the burner retaining screw.
TO REMOVE THE INJECTORS
This operation is more easily performed if the
appliance is turned upside down on a flat surface,
after removing the burners (fig. 5). Use a 7
mm A/F spanner to remove the injector, clean the
injector by blowing (using compressed air for
example) through the small hole at the front.
Never use objects like pins, which could cause
damage to the injector and jeopardise the safety.
After refitting, screw tightly to guard against leaks.
STORAGE
Always store the appliance in a cool dry and well
airy place, preferably in its own packaging or in a
plastic bag. Never store the appliance connected to
a gas container. If the hose and regulator are stored
with the appliance, protect the inlet connection of the
regulator (with a plastic bag, for example). Before
using the appliance after storage, always check that
the air intake of the burner venturi are free of any
obstructions.
GAS HOSE
•
Periodically check hose for condition and replace
it if it displays ageing signs or cracks;
•
the hose must be replaced by a new one of same
length and equivalent quality;
•
the hose must be replaced in compliance with the
periodicity stated by the respective countries.

This appliance must be used with a flexible DIN
hose, which quality shall comply with the use of
butane or propane gas.
The appliances is fitted with a ringed end-piece. It
must be used with a hose which quality shall comply
with the use of butane or propane gas and with the
national regulations in force (BS, UNI, UNE, etc.)
