Drill or screwdriver with a phillips head bit.
Helpful Hints
Prior to assembling your table, apply two coats of water repellent to the table components.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Building the Legs
Insert the 3-½" carriage bolts provided to the pre-drilled seat cross-member and place on the
ground with the bolt heads on the ground and threads exposed. Position the legs so that the
pre-drilled holes align with the bolts and the tops of the legs are level and straight. Add the
washer and secure with the provided wing nut. Repeat steps for the second leg assembly.
Step 2: Attach the Legs to the Table Top
Place the pre-assembled table top upside down and position the legs as shown, making
sure the legs are an equal distance from either table edge and the cross-member is facing
in. Attach the legs to the table top using four 3-½" carriage bolts for each side through the
pre-drilled holes and secure with the washer and wing nut.
Step 3: Strengthen Your Legs
Attach the pre-drilled diagonal braces using the 2-½" wood screws using either a drill or
screwdriver as shown. Before attaching the diagonal brace, make sure the legs are perpen-
dicular to the table top. This will ensure that the table top is level and the seat planks can be
attached correctly. Turn the table the right side up.
Step 4: Attaching the Seats
Place the outside edge of the support under the seat flush with the ends of the cross-member.
Align the pre-drilled hole in the cross-member with the pre-drilled hole of the seat support.
Insert the carriage bolt and secure it using the washer and wing nut.
Care and Maintenance
Congratulations on your new picnic table! To maintain the appearance of the wood used to
construct your table, we suggest performing the following maintenance bi-annually.
1. Start by cleaning your table with a cleaner/brightener that contains a mildewcide.
2. Apply an outdoor wood sealer that contains both a water repellent and ultraviolet stabilizer.
