1. FIXTURE
The EM20 is a UL924 rated shunt trip bypass device that can be used with most lighting fixtures,
Incandescent, Fluorescent and LED. The device is rated for 20Amps at 120 and 277 volts A.C.
2. MOUNTING THE EM20
Mount the EM20 to a standard junction box or enclosure using a ½" KO and secure using the
locking nut provided.
3. WIRING
Refer to the Wiring Detail 1 below for appropriate wiring of the EM20 device to the lighting load
and normal light control relay with 0-10V dimming.
Caution: the 0-10V Dimming leads from a LED driver can have AC Leakage voltage, test both A.C.
and D.C. voltage on dimming control wires and handle wiring appropriately.
