Only the user knows and controls the factors affecting the
performance and safe use of these products. As such, it
is the responsibility of the user (and not 3M) to determine
whether these products are suitable for the user's
application.

Intended Use:
3M™ Trizact™ Diamond HX abrasive discs are intended for
wet floor maintenance processes only. DO NOT use this
product in any dry application. For assistance, please contact

To reduce the risks associated with inhalation of or
exposure to contaminants:
- DO NOT use this product on any asbestos-containing
material.

To reduce the risks associated with inhalation of or
exposure to contaminants:
- Do not use dry. 3M™ Trizact™ Diamond HX Discs are
intended for wet applications only.
- Do not allow this product to be used by untrained operators.
- Always follow standard safety practices, including wearing
appropriate protective apparel and eye protection, while
using this product.
• To reduce the risks associated with impact:
- Use only in low speed wet applications, such as use with an
autoscrubber.
- Inspect both the backup pad and disc prior to each use.
Replace if damaged, cracked, nicked, torn, or worn out.
- Do not use an abnormally curled or cupped disc.
• To reduce the risks associated with use in a hand tool
application:
- Use a tool with rotation speed under 4,000 rpm and a water
spray bottle to keep the work area wet.
- Ensure the tool is in contact with the work surface when it
is started.
- Ensure the backup pad is the same size or larger than the
disc attached to it.
- Use only double-insulated tools and/or GFCI plugs and cords
with any tool this product is mounted on.
- Stop immediately if vibration or wobbling occurs during use.
Determine cause and correct before continuing.
- Ensure the backup pad shaft is fully seated in the tool
collet or properly secured to the tool per the manufacturer's
recommendations. Center disc properly on backup pad.
• To reduce the risks associated with environmental
contamination:
- Dispose of waste and slurries generated from wet polishing
in accordance with all applicable local and government
regulations.
