7. Replace the motor head again on
the container; in this case align the
upper part to the close-off straps
and make sure they engage
(Fig. 7-7 + 7-8).
8. Insert the wider end of the hose into
the correct opening (3/8) (Fig. 7-9).
9. Select the required accessory
(B/C/F/H) and attach it on the loose
end of the suction hose (A) (Fig. 7-10).
10. Connect the suction hose with the
extension tubes if required (G).
8 – Operation
CAUTION! Explosive or toxic
liquids (such as gasoline, oil or
aggressive cleaning agents) must not
be suctioned up with this device.
Danger of explosion or poisoning.
A Dry suctioning
1. Pull out power plug (Fig. 8A-1).
2. For the preparation of your suction
unit for dry suctioning, ensure that
the textile filter covers the filter
mounting (11) completely up to the
motor head. (Fig. 8A-2 + 3). (Your
wet/dry suction unit is supplied with a
ready-assembled reusable textile
filter. If not, see Chapter "Insertion of
the filters").
3. Replace the motor head again on the
container and fasten it with the close-
off straps. (Fig. 8A-4)
4. Insert the wider end of the suction
hose into the suction opening at the
motor head. Place the required

attachment on the free end of the
hose or the extension (Fig. 8A-5).
5. Connect the mains cable to a plug
socket (Fig. 8A-6).
6. Switch on the motor, where you set
switch (1) to the ON position "I", and
begin with the suction (Fig. 8A-7).
7. When you are finished with the
suction, set the switch to the OFF
position "O" and pull the power plug
from the plug socket.
B Wet suction
1. Pull out power plug (Fig. 8B-1).
2. Remove the reusable textile filter, then
place the foamed material filter (D)
carefully over the filter mounting and
again place the motor head on the
container (Fig. 8B-2). See Chapter
"Insertion of the filters".
3. Attach the required nozzle on the
suction hose. (Fig. 8B-3)
4. Ensure that the switch is in the OFF
position "O" before you connect the
mains cable to the plug socket.

5. Switch on the motor by setting the
switch to the ON position "I" (Fig. 8B-5).
6. Empty the container after use, and
clean and dry the inside and outside
before storage (Fig. 8B-6).
