Die Sicherheitszuhaltung AZM 170 stellt im Zusammenwirken mit
dem steuerungstechnischen Teil einer Maschine sicher, dass eine
bewegliche Schutzeinrichtung nicht geöffnet werden kann, bis
gefahrbringende Zustände beendet sind.
Hinweis
Der elektrische Anschluss darf nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal
durchgeführt werden. Die Konformitätserklärung nach Maschinen-
und Niederspannungsrichtlinie senden wir Ihnen auf Wunsch gerne

Montage
Die Befestigungsmaße sind auf der Rückseite des Gerätes benannt.
Das Schaltergehäuse darf nicht als Anschlag benutzt werden. Die
Gebrauchslage ist beliebig. Sie sollte jedoch so gewählt werden,
dass kein grober Schmutz in die benutzte Öffnung eindringen kann.
Die nicht benutzte Öffnung ist mit dem Schlitzverschluss zu ver-
schließen.
Als Montagehilfe und auch für den Fall eines Stromausfalls beim
Ruhestromprinzip ist eine Hilfsentriegelung vorhanden. Durch Drehen
des Dreikants um 180° wird der Riegelbolzen in Entriegelungs-
stellung gezogen. Hierbei ist darauf zu achten, dass durch äußere
Einwirkung über den Betätiger kein Verklemmen stattfindet. Erst
nach Zurückdrehen des Dreikants in die Ausgangslage ist die nor-
male Riegelfunktion wieder gegeben. Die Hilfsentriegelung ist nach
erfolgter Inbetriebnahme durch Aufdrücken des beigefügten
Stopfens zu sichern. Bitte beachten Sie die Hinweise der Normen
EN 292, EN 953 und EN 1088.

The AZM 170 solenoid interlock provides, that a movable safety
guard in combination with the command circuitry of a machine can
only be opened after the risk of injury is no longer present.
Notice
The electrical connection may only be carried out by an authorized
person. The declaration of conformity according to the Machinery
and Low Voltage Directive can be mailed to you on request or can
be drawn from our webside. Further technical information can be
found in the Schmersal catalogue.
Mounting
The mounting dimensions are on the backside of the switch. The
interlock must not be used as an end-stop! The interlock is suitable
for any mounting position. Care should be taken when choosing the
mounting location so that no dirt or such can enter into the actuator
slot. After mounting is completed, the supplied cover should always
be used to close the unused entry.
As a mounting aid and in case of power failure, a manual unlocking
device is provided. By turning the triangle located on the side of the
switch, clockwise 180°, the latching bolt is put into unlocked posi-
tion. When unlocking, caution should be taken so that there is no
damage to the unlocking device due to jamming of the actuator
caused by outside influences. The normal solenoid locking function
will only occur, if the triangle is returned to its original position. The
manual unlocking device has to be secured by repositioning the
enclosed blind cap. Please observe the instructions in standards EN
292, EN 953 and EN 1088.

Le dispositif d'interverrouillage AZM 170 assure, en liaison avec la
commande de la machine, qu'un protecteur mobile ne puisse être
ouvert aussi longtemps que les mouvements dangereux ne sont pas
terminés.
Remarques
Le raccordement électrique ne peut se faire que par du personnel
qualifié. La déclaration de conformité selon les directives machines
et équipement électriques basse tension est disponible sur deman-
de ou directement accessible via Internet.
Montage
Les cotes de fixation des interrupteurs de positions sont indiquées
à l'arrière du boîtier. Le dispositif d'interverrouillage ne peut pas être
utilisé comme butée.
La disposition est au choix. Elle doit cependant être choisie de
façon à éviter que des salissures grossières ne puissent entrer dans
le boîtier. Les ouvertures non utilisées sont à fermer avec les
bouchons faisant partie de la fourniture.
Le déverrouillage manuel ne peut être actionné qu'en cas de panne
de courant ou de défectuosité. La rotation à 180° de la clé triangu-
laire déverrouille le pène de blocage. Il faut veiller à ne pas bloquer
le mécanisme en sollicitant extérieurement l'actionneur. Le fonc-
tionnement normal est rétabli après remise en position de la clé
triangulaire. Après usage, il doit toujours être réarmé et scellé à
l'aide du capuchons en plastique. Respecter également les direc-
tives ou normes EN 292, EN 953 et EN 1088.
