Speed check

Using a tachometer, check the tool speed weekly or with
every 200 hours of operation to assure it does not exceed
the rated speed of the tool at 90 psig.

Never use a pneumatic tool while under the

One moment of inattentiveness in the use of
a pneumatic tool can cause serious injuries.

prohibited to wear gloves.
→ Wear close fitting clothing.
→ If necessary, wear a hairnet.

Wear protective goggles.
Operating Instructions
Make sure the tool is disconnected from the air supply.
Select a suitable abrasive and secure it to the back-up pad.
Use care to center the abrasive on the back-up pad.
For all sanding operation, place the tool on the workpiece
before starting the tool. Always remove the tool from the
workpiece before stopping it. This will help prevent gouging
of the sanding area due to excess speed of the abrasive.
Always disconnect the tool from the air supply to change
abrasives or remove the back-up pad.
Never carry the tool by the air supply hose. To prevent
accidental startup, disconnect the air supply line when
moving the tool to another location.
Dust can be highly combustable.The vacuum
dust collection bag (if equipped) should be
cleaned or replaced daily, If the tool is not
equipped with a dust collection bag use a shop
vacuum or adequate dust collection system to
remove sanding dust from the work area.
This tool is not electrically insulated. Do not operate where
there is a possiblity of coming into contact with electrical
wiring, gas pipes, water pipes, etc. Inpsect the work area
thoroughly before operating the tool.
During operation of the tool or when the air supply is
connected, keep your hands away from the back-up pad
and abrasive.

Do not allow the tool to run at free speed without taking
precautions to prevent personnel injury or property damage
in the event the abrasive or back-up pad come off the tool.
Immediately shut off the tool and disconnect the air supply
if you notice unusual sound or excessive vibration. Have a
qulified repair technician inspect the tool and repair before
placing it back into operation.
Maintenance
Inspect this tool every 500 hours of operation or every six
months, whichever comes first.
Replace worn or damaged parts with Cleco replacement
parts manufactured or supplied by Apex Tool Group, LLC.
Disposal
Observe and comply with all local disposal
guidelines for all components of this equipment
and it's packaging.
