- PUSH-BUTTONS:
l TEST: Used to simulate a MAINS supply failure in order to ensure that the lamps of the beacons operate
properly. Before starting on the TEST, put the equipment under CHARGE condition for at least 24 hours.
The CHARGE pilot light will come on intermitently for the five minute duration of the test.
l ON-OFF: Used to switch on and off the equipment. The push-button enables the change from ON to OFF
position and vice versa.
- INDICATOR LIGHTS:
l RED / MAINS (Green): Indicates that the equipment is operating from the MAINS supply.
l ON (Green): Indicates that the equipment is in ACTIVE operating mode.
l OFF (Red - Intermitent) Indicates that the equipment is BLOCKED.
l CARGA / CHARGE (Green): Indicates that the internal batteries of the equipment are being charged
properly. In TEST operating mode, the pilot light will come on intermitently during the simulation of the
MAINS failure (five minutes).
l FUSIBLE / FUSE: (Red - Intermitent): Indicates that the external fuse (F3), output to the beacons, is not
in working order. The whole installation must be checked in order to clear the short circuit caused in the
wiring of the beacons and the fuse must also be replaced with a new one of identical characteristics.
- The unit incorporates the following safety systems: protection against battery discharge end, protection against
overload and protection against connection errors.
After installation, prolonged discharge of the unit or before being subjected to a
beacons TEST procedure, 24 hours of continuous and maintained operation are
necessary for the battery to be recharged satisfactorily.
