1. Read and understand all instructions and keep for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging and labels.
3. Clean all parts, except Base, following the instructions in the 'Care and Cleaning ' section.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE SHREDDING DISC, BLADES ARE VERY
SHARP.
4. Wipe the Base with a damp cloth. WARNING: NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE IN WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID.
The Food Processor can be used for mincing meat, slicing or shredding vegetables and herbs.
WARNING: THE LOCKING COVER IS A SAFETY FEATURE THAT ALLOWS THE PRODUCT
TO OPERATE ONLY WHEN THE COVER IS PROPERLY LOCKED INTO PLACE. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE LOCKING COVER.
NOTICE: To avoid damage to the disc and blades do not use the appliance for grinding hard
substances such a coffee beans, frozen foods or ice.
Mincing:
1. Rotate the control knob to "0" for "OFF".
2. Position the bowl onto the base aligning the handle with the slot in
the base. Then turn the bowl counterclockwise until it locks into place
(FIG. 1). NOTE: The unit will not operate unless the bowl is properly
locked into place.
3. Place the chopping blade over the stem inside the
bowl (FIG. 2). CAUTION: TO AVOID A CUTTING
HAZARD, ALWAYS HOLD THE CHOPPING BLADE BY
THE SHAFT AND NOT THE BLADES.
4. Place the cover onto the bowl, positioning the tab on
the cover to the right of the handle. Turn the cover
counterclockwise until the tab slides into the groove
under the handle and locks into position (FIG 3).
5. Be sure the control knob is in the "0" position and

before operating the appliance.

shredding desired foods.
(5) DISC SHAFT - Use with slicing/shredding disc.
(6) BOWL - Contains the processed foods.
(7) CHOPPING BLADE - Chops foods into small pieces.
(8) CONTROL KNOB - Select "O" for Off, "1" Low

speed, "2" High speed. and hold "P" for Pulsing.
(9) BASE - Encloses the electrical items and supports
the bowl. NEVER IMMERSE IN ANY LIQUIDS.
