Part One
1) Install the AccuLOG software in your computer (PC only) following the
instructions on the software CD jacket
2) Connect both ends of the serial cable supplied with the unit, one to the AB6000
and the other to your PC
3) Turn your AB6000 ON and verify that the Com (instructions on how to activate
this sub-setting on page 19) setting is ON

3.7 How to use AccuLOG

1) Open the AccuLOG folder and look for the file named AccuLOG.exe. Double click
on it to access the software
2) An initial screen will show you three options to access the program. If you are a
new user use CREATE LOG. If you are a returning user use LOGIN. The MASTER
option is intended for supervisor/comptroller use only. We recommend the password
to be changed right after loging in for the first time. This can be done by opening the
"Password" menu and selecting the "Change password option". Click on the desired
button and follow the instructions on the screen.
3) Once you are logged in, the AccuLOG task screen will be shown clean and ready
to start entering counts
4) Select the desired bill denomination in the bill counting unit. Place the bills in the
hopper and the unit will count them. If the count is correct, press the Start/Stop
button to confirm and enter the current count into AccuLOG. If the count is not
correct, or you wish to repeat that count, simply remove the bills from the stacker
and recount them. Only the counts confirmed by pressing the Start button will be
Recorded. The information will be listed on the screen by Count, Unit, Denomination
