3. Insert the hexagonal bolt through the column end and the hole in the motor bracket and finger-
tighten the mounting nut and washer. And then insert the mounting bolt through column end
and motor adjustment slot and finger-tighten mounting nut and washer.
4. Tighten larger bolt to 200-230 in. lbs. and smaller bolt to 150-160 in. lbs., being careful to
maintain the desired position.
5. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded three-prong receptacle or GFCI if code requires.

WARNING
1.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose the fan to water or rain. To reduce the risk
of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device. This
appliance has a grounded plug. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit in an outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature.

Never insert fingers or any other objects through the grille guard while the fan is in operation.

Disconnect the fan when moving it from one location to another.

Disconnect the fan when removing the guards for cleaning.

Make sure the fan is on a stable, flat surface while it is in operation.

Do not use the fan in windows. Rain and moisture could create an electrical hazard.

PREPARATION
Before beginning operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
package contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
TO ADJUST AIRFLOW UPWARD OR DOWNWARD: Tilt the head of the fan to the desired angle.
This high velocity fan can be used alone or in conjunction with air conditioning. Rotating the fan
head upward pulls air from the floor and circulates it throughout the room.
SPEED CONTROL: Turn the switch to LOW or HIGH to reach the desired speed. It is normal for
the motor to feel warm to touch after continuous operation. The motor is thermally protected and
will automatically shut off when it overheats for any reason. Should this occur, wait approximately
15 minutes for the fan to resume operation.
