LITRE
· For this method, you can use any measuring cup. The indications 40, 80 and 120 on the
measuring cup provided in the amount of rice in ml. A full measuring cup holds 150 ml of
rice.
· In order to determine the ratio of the litre method, look to the right of the line. Here, as
well, the amount of rice and water is indicated and not the contents of the bowl.
· For example: if you wish to cook 200 ml/0.2 L of rice, place it in the bowl and add water up
to the line 0.2.
Caution: never fill the bowl higher than the maximum indication line.

If drops form on the outside of the removable bowl, wipe them off with a soft cloth. Place
the bowl in the appliance. Make sure that the rice is evenly spread in the bowl.

Put the plug in the outlet. There is a power knob at the back of the appliance. Turn it on.
The "hot" indicator light will light up. Push the on-off switch down. The "cook" indicator
light will light up and the rice will begin to cook.

Once the rice is cooked and all the water is gone, the on-off switch will go up by itself.
The "cook" light will go out and the "hot" light will light up. The rice will not continue to
cook but simply be kept hot.

Remove the plug from the outlet. Open the lid. Caution: the steam is hot.

Stir the rice with the ladle provided. Do not use any metal in the bowl, as this could
damage the non-stick coating.
Caution: the removable bowl does get hot. Use oven gloves when removing the bowl from the
appliance.
TIP
There is no timer on the rice cooker. It continues to operate until the water has gone. If you
wish to cook the rice for a longer time, you will have to add more water.
