supervised, or if they have been instructed on how to safely
use the device and understand the resulting risks, provided
that the device is placed/installed in its usual position. Child-
ren between the ages of 3 and 8 may not plug the device
into the plug socket, or maintain/clean the device.
• Children under the age of 3 must be kept away from the de-
vice unless they are under constant supervision. In addition,
they should be prevented from playing with the device.
• The infrared heater does not have an integrated temperature
control (only a temperature limiter). For this reason, the hea-
ter may not be used in small rooms where constant supervi-
sion is not guaranteed at all times.
• The infrared heater may not be operated if the power cable,
plug or plug socket show any signs of damage. These should
be checked for damage before use. Never touch the plug
with wet hands and ensure that the socket is clean and free
of dust. Always hold the plug by the plug casing when plug-
ging the device in or unplugging it. Never pull on the cable.
Prevent kinks or trapping of the cable. If the power connec-
tion the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, customer service or a qualified technician for safety
reasons.
