Install the Fixture

For item # 8511701, use MAX
60 Watt Type A19 Medium Base Lamp.
For item # 8611701, use MAX
75 Watt Type A19 Medium Base Lamp.
For item # 8711701 & 8811701, use
MAX 120 volt 100 Watt Type A19
Medium Base Lamp.
Secure the mounting plate to the electrical box with two mounting plate screws.

Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.

3 Connect the white fixture wire to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
Connect the black fixture wire to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.

5 Mount the fixture base onto the mounting plate studs and secure it using the cap nuts.
Place the frame, shade, and spacer onto the socket (in that order), then secure them in place by screwing the collar

nut onto the socket. NOTE: For item 8511701, use provided shade tool to tighten the collar nut.
Screw the lamp into the socket.

For wet locations, caulk around the base of the fixture with waterproof construction sealant.
