If not mounting over a wall plate, drill any holes or push out any knockouts
needed for power and data ingress into the enclosure.

NOTE: The 39-1016-ANTPLATE is an optional accessory for the 1016 en-

(For Installing 39-1016-ANTPLATE ONLY) Fasten the Antenna and Ac-
cess Point Mounting Bracket to the 1016 enclosure using three (3) of the
provided #6 x 1/4" Thread-Forming Screws.

Place the enclosure against the surface to which it will be mounted and
mark the hole locations with the keyhole slots. The back cutout may be
placed over a wall plate. It is recommended that the enclosure be fas-
tened to a stud if possible. Use a minimum of two (2) #10 x 2" or larger
screws (not included) to secure the enclosure to a stud. If there is no
stud at the mounting location, use four (4) wall anchors suitable for the
wall construction, such as threaded drywall anchors, threaded drywall
toggles, sleeve type hollow wall anchors (a.k.a. Molly Bolts) or toggle
bolts. There should be enough clearance between the bottom of the
screw head and the wall for the enclosure's keyhole slots to engage the
screws. Due to the weight of the AP and enclosure, plastic wall anchors
are not recommended for fastening enclosure to the wall.
If necessary, remove the Antenna and Access Point Mounting Bracket
to access the wall mounting openings.

na to the Antenna Mounting Bracket using four (4) of the provided #8 x
5/8" or #6 x 1/2" Screws. To determine which set of holes to use, see
the mounting legend on page 4.

To mount the Cisco AIR-BRACKET-1 or -2, align the bracket's four (4)
"A" marked holes with the four (4) embosses on the enclosure base
labeled "B" on the mounting legend (see page 5).
If installing the AIR-BRACKET-1, use the four (4) provided #6 x 5/16" flat
head screws to fasten the bracket to the enclosure base.
If installing the AIR-BRACKET-2, use the four (4) provided #6 x 5/16"
pan head screws to fasten the bracket to the enclosure base.

Para montar Cisco AIR-BRACKET-1 o -2, alinee los cuatro (4) agujeros
marcados con "A" del soporte con los cuatro (4) relieves en la base del

(For Installations with 39-1016-ANTPLATE ONLY)
NOTE: Cisco APs can be mounted directly to the Access Point Mounting
Bracket. They can also be mounted indirectly to the same bracket with
the use of a Cisco AIR-BRACKET-1, AIR-BRACKET-2, or T-Bar Bracket.
If mounting AP to T-Bar or directly to AP Mounting Bracket, skip the rest
of step 4B.
To mount the Cisco AIR-BRACKET-1, align the bracket's four (4) re-
cessed holes with the four (4) holes on the AP mounting bracket labeled
"A" on the mounting legend (see page 4).

To mount the Cisco AIR-BRACKET-2, align the bracket's four (4) slots (see
above image) with the four (4) holes on the AP mounting bracket labeled "B"
on the mounting legend (see page 4).
Use the four (4) provided #8 x 1/4" pan head screws to fasten either Cisco
AIR-BRACKET-1 or -2 to the AP mounting bracket.

NOTA: Los AP de Cisco se pueden montar directamente en el soporte de

Meraki
(For Installations without 39-1016-ANTPLATE ONLY)
To install the Meraki AP, attach the Meraki mounting bracket to the enclosu-
re base using two (2) #6 x 5/16" pan head screws (provided). The single
gang outlet box holes of the Meraki mounting bracket should be aligned with
the two (2) embosses labeled "F" on the mounting legend (see page 5).
