!Caution! Risk of injury
Device parts and batteries must be kept out
of reach of children.
Batteries must not be thrown on an fire,
shorted, dismantled or recharged. !Danger
of explosion!
Batteries contain harmful acids. Weak batte-
ries should be replaced as soon as possible
to prevent damage from leaking acid.
Do not use a combination of old and new
batteries together. Do not use batteries of
varying types.
Wear chemically-resistant protective gloves
and safety goggles when handling leaking
batteries.
6. Initial start-up
6.1. Placing the batteries in the receiver
Place both devices on a table at a distance of
1.5m from each other.
Avoid proximity to potential sources of
interference (electronic devices and radio
transmitters/receivers).
Remove the protective cover from the
receiver's display.
Remove the battery cover and insert two new
batteries (1.5 V AAA, polarity -+) as depicted.
Reclose the battery slot.
LCD segments will be displayed for a short
period.
Interior temperature display
The "!" symbol will start to flash indicating it is
searching for the transmitter signal.
6.2 Placing the batteries in the transmitter
Open the screw cover of the transmitter as
depicted in Fig. 3.
Insert two new batteries (1.5 V AAA, polarity
-+) as depicted in Fig. 4.

6.3. Receiving transmitter data
Once the batteries have been inserted, the
"!" symbol will flash for 3 minutes while it
searches for the receiver signal.
Once it stops flashing, the signal has been
found and assigned to channel 1 as standard.
During the 3 minutes, insert the batteries in
the transmitter and close the slot.
The transmitter's signals will then be sent to
the receiver and the red LED display will start
to flash. The receiver captures the signals
and displays data on the display.
If the receiver does not display the pool data
within 3 minutes, the "—" signal will appear
and the "!" symbol will not display meaning
that you need to check the transmitter batte-
ries and try once again.
Please also check for any sources of interfe-
rence and interfering frequencies.
You can also launch a transmitter search at a
later time, such as if the signal is lost or you
need to change batteries.
Hold the CH button on the receiver for 3
seconds. "—" will appear on the display and
the "!" symbol will being to flash.
Insert new batteries in the transmitter and put
back together.
The signal will then be transmitted to the
receiver.
The receiver will be sent the transmitter data.
Please note:
After changing the batteries, you will need
to press the CH button on the receiver
for 3 seconds in order to access the
corresponding channel (for example, if the
transmitter is CH1, hold the CH button on
the receiver in order to access channel 1).
This serves to re-link the pool transmitter
to the receiver.
If the receiver does not display transmitter
data for a long period, hold the CH button
for 3 seconds in order to search for the
transmitter's particular channel.
