the buyer or a third party modifies the vehicle, it is pos-

This procedure must be performed with due care and
attention by an adult. Ensure that no child is allowed
to play with the toy until the batteries have been cor-
rectly installed. The car is ready to use in a few easy
steps. Battery installation should be performed in the
order shown in the illustrations.

How5LED5daytime5running5lights5work
The daytime running lights are operated via a touch-
sensitive5sensor5(Fig.56)5in5the5cockpit5of5the5Junior5
quattro Pikes Peak. To switch on the daytime running
lights, lightly touch the sensor. The LED daytime run-
ning lights come on, which is confirmed by a red LED
indicator light in the centre of the sensor. To switch off
the LED daytime running lights, touch the sensor once
again. To prevent unintentional battery discharge, the
LED daytime running lights switch off automatically
after5around5105minutes.5Due5to5the5electronic5sensor-
based5control5system,5you5should5wait525seconds5
between switching the LED daytime running lights on
and off.
