EU countries only:
Under the current European Directive on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment and its implementation in national law,
electrical and electronic equipment no longer suitable for use
must be collected separately and recycled in an environmen-
tally compatible manner.
End-of-life battery packs contain large quantities of
valuable raw materials and plastics which can also
be recycled.
• Battery packs must not be disposed of with household
waste!
• Return faulty or worn-out battery packs to the Metabo
retailer!
• Before disposing of the battery pack, discharge it in the
power tool. Insulate the contacts to prevent short-circuit-
ing (e.g. with adhesive tape)
EU countries only:
In accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or spent
rechargeable batteries / batteries must be recycled. Waste
rechargeable / non-rechargeable batteries can be returned to
the point of purchase or to a collection facility for hazardous
substances.

Declaration of Conformity

Manufacturer's warranty

This STEINEL product has been manufactured with utmost
care, and its operation and safety have been tested in
conformity with the current regulations. Production also
undergoes final random testing.
STEINEL guarantees that it is in perfect condition and proper
working order.
The products comes with a 12-month warranty, com-
mencing on the date of purchase by the consumer. We will
remedy defects caused by material flaws or manufacturing
faults. The warranty will be met by repair or replacement of
defective parts at our own discretion. The warranty does not
cover damage to wear parts, damage or defects caused by
improper treatment or maintenance.
Further consequential damage to other objects is excluded.
Claims under warranty shall only be accepted if the product
is sent fully assembled and well packed complete with re-
ceipt or invoice (date of purchase and dealer's stamp) to the
appropriate service centre or handed in to the dealer within
the first 6 months.
