and explosive which could cause burns, fire or
explosion resulting in death, serious injury and/or
property damage. Turn generator engine OFF and let
it cool at least 2 minutes before removing fuel cap. Let spilled
fuel evaporate before starting engine. Always allow space for
fuel expansion.
WARNING Contact with muffler area could cause burns
resulting in serious injury. DO NOT touch hot parts
and AVOID hot exhaust gases.
You Will Need:
• Utility knife • Pliers • Two 13 mm wrenches • 8 mm or 5/16 in. socket wrench • Safety glasses
• Unleaded fuel • Adjustable Wrench

6.
Place an e-ring (E) in axle groove.
1
7.
Install e-ring with pliers, squeezing from top of e-ring to bottom
of axle.
CAUTION E-rings could cause eye injury. E-rings could spring back
and become airborne when installing or removing, resulting in
moderate injury. Always wear eye protection when installing/
removing e-rings.
8.
Place hub cap (F) into center of wheel and push until it snaps into place.
9.
Repeat steps 3 through 8 to secure second wheel.
10.
Tip generator back slightly and remove support leg from under engine recoil.
11.
Line up holes in support leg (G) with holes in generator frame.
12.
Attach support leg using two capscrews (H) and two hex nuts (I). Tighten
with 13 mm wrenches.
2
13.
Repeat step 11 and 12 to secure second support leg.
14.
Attach cord wrap posts (J) to generator frame. Tighten with an adjustable
wrench.
3
15.
Return generator to normal operating position (resting on wheels).
Attach Negative Battery Cable
WARNING Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead
and lead compounds - chemicals known to the State of California to cause
cancer and reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
1.
Cut off tie wrap securing loose end of negative (black) cable.
2.
Using an 8 mm or 5/16 in. socket wrench, remove screw (K), lock washer
(L) and flat washer (M) on negative battery terminal.
3.
Slide lock washer, flat washer and negative battery cable (N) over screw as
shown.
4
4.
Reattach screw to negative battery terminal and tighten.
5.
Verify that connections to battery and generator are tight and secure.
Attach Extend-a-panel™
1.
The Extend-a-panel™. can be connected to the generator directly or with the
provided 20 Amp, 25 ft. accessory cord. To connect the Extend-a-panel™
directly to the generator, follow these instructions:
2.
Twist knob (O) on main panel to horizontal position.
3.
Place hole at top of Extend-a-panel™ (P) over knob on main panel.
4.
Twist knob (O) to vertical position to lock Extend-a-panel™ (P) onto main
panel.
6
5.
Connect the Extend-a-panel™ twistlock (Q) to small cord under main panel
on generator.
7
6.
Connect Extend-a-panel™ two pin connector (R) to small two pin connector

1.
Move generator outdoors to a flat, level surface, in an area that will not
accumulate deadly exhaust gas. DO NOT place generator where exhaust gas
could accumulate and enter inside or be drawn into a potentially occupied
building. Ensure exhaust gas is kept away from any windows, doors,
ventilation intakes, or other openings that can allow exhaust gas to collect
in a confined area. Prevailing winds and air currents should be taken into
consideration when positioning generator.
2.
To reduce the risk of exhaust heat or exhaust gases igniting nearby
combustible material, keep at least 5 ft (1.5 m) clearance on all sides of
generator, including overhead.
Start Generator
