FM radio tuner with RDS, coaxial connector for external FM aerial, integrated line termi-
nator, installation on DIN rail (60715 TH35), occupies 2 modules of 17.5 mm.
The FM tuner is able to send the digital audio signal and the RDS messages received by radio over the
bus. The FM tuner receives the radio stations (with the relevant RDS information) in the band 87.50
– 108.00 MHz and in addition enables saving up to 8 different radio stations, to then be able retrieve
them by using the commands sent over the bus by the By-me control devices.
CHARACTERISTICS.

1) 2 for the speaker system bus
2) 2 for a bus By-me output for connecting up to 3 By-me devices
• Absorption: 35 mA
• Dissipated power: 1 W
• Installation: on DIN rail (60715 TH35), size 2 modules
• Operating temperature: -5 - +45 °C (for indoor use)
• Configuration button
• Possibility of manual adjustment of input sensitivity (see control unit manual)
• Two-colour LED for configuring and indicating ON/OFF status of operation
• F-type female connector for external antenna
• Jumper to insert the audio line termination
• Jumper to select the type of antenna (external on connector F or use the Bus cable as an antenna)

Settings which can be configured directly from the device
• To set the type of antenna, that is to say external on connector F or internal on the bus, it is sufficient to
use the PIN STRIP situated next to the antenna connector (fig. 2):
1. Antenna on connector F: Connect together pins 3 with 5 and 4 with 6
2. Antenna on bus: Connect together pins 3 with 1 and 4 with 2
IMPORTANT: If there is no additional branch from the audio bus terminal to connect other
audio devices (if the device is the first and last of an audio branch), the bridge near the termi-
nal (fig. 3 - line termination) must be closed; otherwise it must be left open. Each end of the
speaker system bus must always be terminated.
INSTALLATION RULES
Installation should be carried out by qualified staff in compliance with the current regulations regarding
the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
WARNING: If the external antenna is used on connector F the device must be suitably separated
from the circuit with hazardous voltage. The antenna is a SELV circuit.
CONFORMITY.
EMC directive.
Standards EN 50428, EN 55022, EN 55024.
WEEE - Information for users
If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this means the product must not be
included with other general waste at the end of its working life. The user must take the worn product to a sorted
waste center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one. Products for disposal can be consigned free
of charge (without any new purchase obligation) to retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m
less than 25 cm. An efficient sorted waste collection for the environmentally friendly disposal of the used device,
or its subsequent recycling, helps avoid the potential negative effects on the environment and people's health, and
encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the construction materials.
