6. Initial Operation

6.1 Assembly
1. Connect hosepipe (8) to air vessel (9).
2. Connect hosepipe (8) to manual valve (16)

3. Insert spraying lance (19) into manual valve (16)
and tighten clamping nut.
6.2 Battery pack
Charge the battery pack before use. Recharge the
battery pack if performance diminishes.
Instructions on charging the battery pack can be
found in the operating instructions of the Metabo
charger.
In case of Li-Ion battery packs with capacity and
signal display (15) (equipment-specific):
- Press the button (14), the LEDs indicate the
charge level.
- The battery pack is almost flat and must be
recharged if one LED is flashing.
Removing and inserting the battery pack
Removal: press the battery pack release button (13)
and pull the battery pack (12) forwards.
Inserting: slide in the battery pack (12) until it
engages.
7. Use
7.1

Filling the container

Note: Prepare only the required amount of spraying
agent.
Note: Observe the mixing instructions of the
manufacturer.
1. Always insert the filling screen (1) into the filling
port!
2. Fill in 2/3 of the amount of water.
3. Addliquid concentrate.
Note: Powder must be completely dissolved.
4. Fill up with water (observe the marking "max.
filling level").
5. Check the gasket in the filler cap (3). Replace if
necessary: Order no. (set of seals): 316071800.
6. Close container.
7.2 Adjust the nozzle output
By turning the regulating nozzle (4) and the
pressure setting (17), set the desired nozzle output.

Spraying = 0 turn
Jet = 2 turn
Determine flow quantity (if required):
- Determine the flow quantity of the nozzle with the
selected setting by spraying for 1 minute into a
measuring cup.
- Empty the contents of the measuring cup back
into the container.
- If necessary, change the settings.
"Spraying" (when using a 2.0 Ah battery pack, for
example):
