wise, dry the sensor area with a soft cloth.
To activate the detector, press and hold for approx. 5 seconds on the switch button. The device starts
up in metal detection mode, and after a short test the device will be ready for operation. This will be
confirmed by the illumination of the green LED indicator.
When the red LED indicator in switched and you hear the beep it is necessary to calibrate the detec-
tor.
The device automatically turns off when time from the last press of any button is longer than about 5
minutes. This will extend the period without the battery replacement.
Detection of metal elements
Press the metal / current detection button until the metal detection symbol appears on the display.
Make sure that the green LED indicator is switched on.
Place the detector to the test surface and move it along it. If you detect metal element the LED indicator
switches LED light to orange, then to red, and then the indication of measurement will increase its am-
plitude and you hear a beep. Observe the measurement amplitude, in the place where you will see the
amplitude greatest value, there is a metallic element. The screen will also show approximate distance
between the metal element and detector sensor and the type of detected metal. Symbol of magnet
means the ferromagnetic metal, the symbol of a crossed magnet means the metal diamagnetic.
Attention! The detector gives only an approximate distance of the metal element. Reading depends on
the size and location of the metal element in relation to the sensor device. The baseline was determined
for a steel bar having a diameter of 18 mm, arranged parallel to the sensor.
ATTENTION! In the case of weak signal detection, it may not be possible to determine the type of metal
and the distance to it.
Detection of wooden elements
Press the wood detection button, the display shows the same symbol, which is shown on the button.
Wait until the green LED lights up on the display. Place the detector to the test surface and move it
along it. If you detect a wood element the LED indicator switches LED light to orange, then to red,
and then the indication of measurement will increase its amplitude and you hear a beep. Observe the
measurement amplitude, in the place where you will see amplitude greatest value, there is a metallic
element.
ATTENTION! While the detector is moving, it should not be distracted from the surface. All detector
feet must be able to contact with the tested surface.
If you detect elements of wood, the measuring indicator will increase amplitude of the indication. The
detector should be moved several times over the area of detection. This will increase detection ac-
curacy. In the place where the measuring indicator will show the highest value, the wood element is
located directly beneath the sensor detector.
ATTENTION! In case of accidental application of the detector directly above a wooden element it will
be lit orange or red LED indicator and you hear a beep. In this case, put the detector in another place
the tested surface, and then start the detection procedure again.
Detection of live wires
Press the metal / current detection button until the current detection symbol appears on the display.
Wait until the green LED lights up on the display. Place the detector to the test surface and move it
along it. If you detect a live wire, the LED indicator switches LED light to orange, then to red, and then
the indication of measurement will increase its amplitude and you hear a beep. Observe the measure-
ment amplitude, in the place where you will see amplitude greatest value, there is a live wire.
The detector is able to pinpoint the location of cables, which are energized, through which flows an
alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz and a voltage of 110 V, 230 V and 380 V, other
cables can be detected only as metal elements.
Live cable indicator may appear on the screen when it detects metal and wood elements as well. When
the indicator shows up, you should move the indicator several times on over the place where live wire
may be located. Observe the amplitude of indicator. In place of the highest indication there is the live
wire. If you find a live cable, the red LED indicator will glow and detector will emit an audible beep.
Live wires are easiest to detect if the actual current is passed through them. To do this, turn on the
receivers of electrical energy.
ATTENTION! In some cases, for example if the pipes are arranged behind a metal surface or be-
