After this line is pointed a new window is opened to adjust the 0mV
reference.
Usually run this operation connecting the "Short-circuited" plug on the
"MEAS" socket.
7.3 VIEW screen
Use this menu to view:
•
Last Calibration details.
•
Stored readings.
•
«Last STD Datum»
After this line is pointed the «Last STD Datum» window is opened:
It shows all information about the Buffers used for calibration.

«SETUP» Jumps to standard Buffers selection screen.

«Stored Datum»
This screen shows all previous reading stored by the user on the pH-
meter.
Function Keys:
•
«PRINT» If printer (See 7.6) is attached to the pH-meter starts
to print all or just the selected reading.
•
«DEL» Deletes all stored reading or just the selected one.
•
«PgUp» «PgDn» Scroll page.

7.4 STD screen (pH-Calibration)
Calibration is the process to calculate the relationship between the mV readings
and the actual buffers pH value. It is necessary, because all electrodes have differ-
ent features.
In a few words, calibration steps are:
•
Select the "Buffer Group" that is going to use. This means that you must set
what Buffers are going to be used for calibration.
•
Measure each Buffer with the electrode. On this step, the pH-meter calculates
the correction to apply from the pairs measured mV - pH.
From the starting menu, point over «STD» button to proceed with pH-meter cali-
bration.
Note: Usually a pH-meter must be calibrated:
•
First time use
•
Daily
•
After change the electrode
•
After measuring strong acids (pH<2)
•
After measuring strong alkalis (pH>12)
•
After measure very dense solutions that can obstruct the membrane.
