2.1 Technical Information
The Märklin mini-club locomotives are
designed for operation with 10 volts DC.
The mini-club solenoid accessories require
10 volts AC for operation.
The mini-club power pack has a maximum
power output of 8 VA (0.8 amps x 10 volts)
for track power and a maximum power
output of 8 VA for accessories.

Important information:
G Märklin mini-club locomotives must
never be operated with more than
10 volts track power. With a higher vol-
tage the motor overheats to such an
extent that plastic parts close to it will
deform and the motor will burn out in a
very short period of time. You should
therefore use only original Märklin mini-
club power packs for your mini club
layout.

overload, the circuit breaker in the
power pack shuts off the output volta-
ge. In this situation unplug the power
pack from the wall outlet, or when
using several power packs, unplug the
power distribution strip from the wall
outlet. Pay strict attention to the
safety instructions outlined in Part 1
of these instructions! Correct the
cause of the short circuit (example:
derailed locomotive) or in the event of
an overload reduce the number of
users connected to the power pack.
