Routine maintenance of the boiler
•
Limescale residues will laminate inside the boiler in normal use. It may be advantageous to
use pre-boiled or filtered water in your baby food maker in order to reduce the limescale
build-up and the need to decalcify.
•
On a regular basis, the residues can be removed by using a white vinegar solution.
Approximately 230ml of a white vinegar solution (in a ratio of 1:4, meaning 1 part of
vinegar to 4 parts of water) should be poured into the boiler and left for 2 hours. The
solution should then be removed and the boiler should be rinsed and dried off.
•
Perform a steaming cycle by using 230ml of water with the empty blending container only.
•
The cleaning process is recommended to be carried out at regular intervals - at least once
every 2 weeks if using hard water.
Warning! Always unplug the unit and make sure it is cold before cleaning it.
