WARNING: To prevent electric shock, make sure the lamp is not
plugged in until all assembly steps are complete.
LAMP ASSEMbLy
NOTE: THIS UNIT IS FULLy ASSEMbLED
1. Remove all packing from lamp and place base (A) on a flat
steady surface.
2. First step in opening your Craft Carry Case is to open center
clasp (C) located on handle (b). Locate clasp side with three
raised dots and pull upward as show in diagram 1.
3. After opening clasp (C), separate and place both sides of
handles (b) downward onto their resting position as shown in
diagram 2.
4. Open slide-locks (D) by sliding bar inward then proceed to
carefully position Craft Carry Case as displayed in diagram 3.
Position base (A) as desired.

5. Raise the shade (H) from its closed position by grasping
the shade and lifting. Hold the base steady as needed when

raising the shade.

6. To install tube (I), follow TUbE INSERTION/

REPLACEMENT instruction.
7. Adjust the position of the shade (H) by grasping the arms (J)

to move them into position. Shade (H) can swivel and rotate.
8. Adjust arm tension by using a coin to rotate nuts (K and L)

clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. The
lower joint tension (Q) is adjusted by using the provided tool
(R), see diagram 7 for tool storage. NOTE: Lower joint
tension (Q) cannot be seen in diagram 4 due to its
hidden location. Always replace the tool (R) in its holder
after use. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN arm or lower tension
joint as it may damage them.
9. Carefully unwrap the cord (F) from its cradle inside the base
(A). See diagram 5.
10. Plug the cord into a standard 120Vac outlet.
11. To turn the lamp ON or OFF depress the pushbutton switch
(M) located in the front of the base (A).
12. Compartments doors (N) can easily open by grasping tabs
(O) and pulling upward. Compartment dividers (P) can

be removed as desired to adjust compartment space; see
diagram 6.

13. To secure or close Craft Carry Case, loosen the tension nuts
(K and L) if needed, place the shade into its closed position
and secure compartment doors. Once carrying case is closed,
close slide-locks (D) sliding bar outward and close center
clasp (C).
14. To stow or carry the Craft Carry Case, unplug the cord and
carefully wrap it into its cradle in the bottom of base (A)
following direction of "arrow" only. NOTE: For safety, place
end of cord on clip (G) as shown in diagram 5.
