Important safety information
Failure to follow these safety
instructions could result in fire,
electric shock, injury, or damage
to your Beddit Sleep Monitor or
other property. Before using your
sleep monitor, read all the safety
information below.
Not a medical device The
Beddit Sleep Monitor is not
a medical device. It is not
designed or intended for use
in the diagnosis of disease or
other conditions, or for the
cure, mitigation, treatment, or
prevention of a disease.
The Beddit Sleep Monitor should
not be used as a baby monitor. It
will not warn you of any sleeping
problems your infant may have,
such as if your infant stops
breathing, nor will it prevent
sudden infant death syndrome.
Trip hazards Use caution when
placing the cable of the sleep
monitor to avoid trip hazards.
Choking hazards Do not use the
Beddit Sleep Monitor with infants
or children. Death or injury could
result from the sensor or cable
entangling around a child's neck.
If your sleeping habits put you at
risk of entangling the sensor or
cable around your neck, do not
use the Beddit Sleep Monitor.
Exposure to liquid Don't use the
power adapter in wet locations,
such as near a sink, bathtub, or
shower stall, and don't connect
or disconnect the power adapter
with wet hands.
Repairing Do not disassemble
or attempt to repair the sensor,
cable, or power adapter, because
there are no repairs that can be
performed safely at home.
Power adapter safety Always
allow adequate ventilation
around the power adapter and
use care when handling it. Use
common sense to avoid situations
where your skin is in prolonged
contact with the power adapter
when it's plugged into a power
source. For example, don't sleep
with the power adapter. Take
special care if you have a physical
condition that affects your ability
to detect heat against your body.
