Always attach the depth stop and supplied handle
with strip guide before starting work.
When dismantling the screwdriver magazine,
remember that the sliding piece is spring-loaded.
Dismantle with care so that the sliding piece does
not eject from the tool and strike people or objects
in the direct vicinity.
Only use screw types and dimensions that are
listed in the Technical Specifications and make
sure that they are suitable for the material being
processed.
Always use genuine Metabo screwdriver bits and
replace bits immediately if they become worn or
damaged. (see section 10 Accessories).
Switch the screwdriver to "Clockwise" rotation.
We do not recommend removing screws ("Anti-
clockwise" rotation) with the screwdriver magazine
attached.
Before removing screws, do not detach the
complete screwdriver magazine from the screw-
driver as the mounting is not designed for frequent
removal and reattachment and will wear prema-
turely.
Instead, slacken the clamping screw (1) and then
detach the screwdriver magazine from the adapter
(2). Then remove the screw. Slide the screwdriver
magazine over the screwdriver bit (3) on the
adapter (2) and push against the adapter (2). Align
the screwdriver magazine on the screwdriver
accordingly. Tighten the clamping screw (1) again.
Switch on the screwdriver before inserting any
screws to improve machine handling.
