Desk-top installation of telephone:
1. For the desk-mounted telephone version, use desk-top conversion kit Art. 7141 (Fig. 6).
2. Insert the plug inside the base in the socket on the back of the telephone (Fig. 2). This
done, mount the telephone on the base and push down until it locks in place.
3. Connect the plug at the other end of the cord to the telephone line by inserting it in the
socket on the standard accessory (Fig. 7). Alternatively, connect the plug to the
telephone switchboard line (Art. 3514-3528) by inserting it in the socket on accessory
Art. 3560 (Fig. 3).
INSTALLATION OF TELEPHONE WITH MONITOR SERIES GALILEO
1 - Embed back box Art. 7149 so that it is flush-mounted on the wall about 1.40 m
from the ground (Fig. 8).
2 - Remove the hole caps from the back box and attach mounting bracket Art. 7146
using the 4 screws provided (Fig. 9).
3 - Insert the telephone cord plug supplied with the bracket in the socket on the back
of telephone (detail A, Fig. 10). Connect the other end of the cord to the telephone
line from the switchboard (Art. 3514-3528) by inserting the plug in the socket on
accessory Art. 3560 (Fig. 3).
4 - (Fig. 11) Attach the telephone to the mounting bracket by hanging it over the
hooks and pushing it down until it is locked in place.
Insert monitor plug "B" in the socket marked "CN1" on the bracket terminal block
(detail C, Fig. 10).
Finally mount the monitor by hanging it over the hooks and pushing it down until it
is locked in place.
To detach the telephone or monitor from the mounting bracket, prise open the
safety tab with a screwdriver and detach the unit by pushing it up (in the opposite
direction to that indicated by arrows 1 and 2).
N.B.: Do not use the 3-pole cable supplied with the monitor.
