use the unit if the surface the unit is placed on is wet or could come into contact with
any kind of power source. Water and other fluids can conduct electricity. That can
lead to severe injuries and death. Never place the transformer/inverter on or near fan
heaters, radiators or other heat sources. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation to
drain off the arising heat while the transformer/inverter is operating.
To keep the area around the transformer/inverter safe, keep it away from easily
flammable materials, especially from flammable smoke or gasses. Always disconnect
the transformer/inverter as soon as it is no longer in operation. Do not expose the
transformer/inverter to rain or moisture. Do not place the transformer/inverter near
heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Safety instructions:
Use the transformer/inverter only with the direct current stated on the label.
-
Use the transformer/inverter only with the cables included.
-
Every time you connect the direct-current side, make sure the polarity is not
-
reversed.
Make sure there is no flammable material in the area before every use.
-
Use the transformer/inverter only with devices that do not exceed the rated
-
power.
If you simultaneously operate a battery charger, regularly check to make sure it
-
does not overheat.
Always use fuses of the same rating only.
-
If you operate the transformer/inverter without the engine running, we
-
recommend restarting to charge the battery.
If the transformer/inverter switches off, do not simply restart it; rather, correct
-
the problem first.
Transformer/inverter connection :
1. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch, which is located on the front panel, is in the
OFF (O) position.
2. Connect the transformer/inverter to a 12V direct-current source. For example, a
cigarette lighter or a battery connection.
3. After connecting the terminals put the switch in the ON position. To confirm that the
transformer/inverter is operating, observe that the LED is illuminated with a green
light.
4. Put the switch into the OFF position and switch on the unit.
