4 - INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Note for the installer: provide adequate wiring trunking (particularly
for the power supply voltage), respecting the system standard in force.
5 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Caution: if the load is particularly reactive (e.g. discharge, fluorescent,
electronic lamps, etc.) or its cos is lower than those indicted in the
technical data, the relay could be damaged.
In this cases use an external relay or contactor with suitable properties.
6 - OPERATION THRESHOLD AD USTMENT (LUX)
With shield removed, electrical connections made and power supply ON, make the
adjustment (from 2 to 200 LUX) working with a small screwdriver on the trimmer of
adjustment threshold (see figure).
The green LED lights up to indicate that the threshold is activated.
7 - MODE OF OPERATION
The external twilight switch manages the switching ON and OFF of external lighting system.
The switch closes the contact when the brightness of the surroundings drops below the
threshold set and keeps it closed until the threshold is passed.
For correct operation, the twilight switch must be installed so that it is not influenced by the
switching ON of the lamps to which it is connected or however by any other light source
(commercial signs, vehicle lights, etc.)
